Cycled AC

Learn more about the program below:

Cycled Central Air Conditioning is a free energy conservation program. The program cycles the central air on and off in 15-minute intervals during peak demand days. Control times may be as many as 20-25 days per year and usually occur in the late afternoons and early evenings. Because your furnace fan continues to circulate cool air, most people don’t notice that the air conditioner is being cycled.

The cycled air conditioning program is your opportunity to take advantage of the lower EnergyWise® rate while still keeping your home cool and comfortable.

CYCLED AIR CONDITIONING REQUIREMENTS AND BENEFITS:

  • Central Air Conditioner needs to be 240 Volt.
  • Members must also be on our Dual Fuel Heating and/or Storage Heating programs to receive the EnergyWise rate..
