Member Survey Scores High
At Stearns Electric Association we strive to exceed expectations, every single day. We don’t want to do what you only expect us to do — provide you with affordable, safe, and reliable electric service. We want to go farther and do better, from providing superior member service to offering programs that help you save time and money.
Throughout 2017 nearly 400 Stearns Electric Association members took part in a member satisfaction survey. Members were randomly selected to receive a survey after having direct contact with a Cooperative employee. The information gathered from the survey is used to evaluate the Cooperative’s performance to its member owners.
Members taking the survey were able to evaluate the Cooperative in the areas of responsiveness, listening, understanding, service and overall Cooperative experience. Overall member satisfaction for Stearns Electric Association is very high with 98.49% of members rating their Cooperative experience as either satisfied or very satisfied. Even though this percentage is very high, the Cooperative targets its membership satisfaction on achieving the very top ranking of “very satisfied” which for 2017 was 72.52%.
Stearns Electric Association line workers provide the public face of our mission to exceed expectations. They routinely work in rough weather and put in long hours. But they do it gladly, because they care about doing an exceptional job for you. However, we have many people behind the scenes who also make our Cooperative the best it can be. Our engineers continually explore new technologies to improve service reliability. Our Billing department works to make bill paying easier and more convenient with programs like auto pay and on-line billing. Our member service representatives want to make sure you have a positive and satisfying experience when you call our office for help.
Whether it’s a power outage or energy conservation concerns, a billing question or community event, we’re working hard for you every day. If you hear from us asking for you to participate in a member satisfaction survey, please do so. This way, we’ll know if we’re meeting your expectations, exceeding them, or need to improve in a specific area.
