At Stearns Electric Association, we understand that unexpected expenses or circumstances may come your way from time to time. If you are experiencing financial hardship, call our Member Accounts Department during business hours so we can work with you to set up an acceptable payment plan.
2025 Government Shutdown Impacting Financial Assistance Programs
The current federal government shutdown has impacted financial assistance programs and funding. If you are struggling to pay your monthly electric bill, please contact our Member Accounts department at (800) 962-0655 to set up an acceptable payment plan to avoid disconnection. This includes members who are already eligible for energy assistance program (EAP) benefits through another organization.
