$100 rebate for qualifying ENERGY STAR® rated residential heat pump water heater.
Heat pump water heaters are not required to participate in a program, but are eligible for the EnergyWise® Stored Water Heating or Peak Shave Water Heating programs with an adequately sized water heater.

$300 for 85+ gallon water heater on EnergyWise® Stored Water Heating or Peak Shave Water Heating programs.
$100 50 gallon water heater on EnergyWise® Peak Shave Water Heating program.

Rebates are only available for equipment purchased on or after January 1, 2026. Equipment must be installed where electricity is supplied by Stearns Electric Association. To receive these rebates, print the appropriate application, fill it out and mail it to the address listed on the form. The receipt of the appliance purchase must also be included.
