Member-Funded Operation Round Up® Celebrate Major $3 Million Milestone

Stearns Electric’s Operation Round Up® (ORU) program and our member-consumers celebrate a major milestone this July. Since the program’s inception in 1993, funded by the generous contributions of our members, the ORU program has awarded over $3 million in funds to local non-profit organizations and community service programs.

YOUR SMALL CHANGE MAKES A BIG DIFFERENCE!

Through ORU, Stearns Electric gives you the opportunity to give back to local communities by rounding up your monthly electric bill to the nearest dollar. The rounded-up funds (between 1¢ and 99¢) are placed in a Trust Fund, used to provide grants and funding to organizations and worthy causes throughout our 2,000 square mile service territory.
