Savings for Home Energy Upgrades Ending Soon

If you’re a homeowner with plans to make any energy-efficient upgrades, now is the time to see if those projects qualify you for a federal tax credit before they expire.

If you’ve been thinking about installing new windows, purchasing an electric vehicle or even conducting a home energy audit to see what improvements you could make, here is a rundown of the available tax credits and the date they expire.

Before pursuing any of the above upgrades, contact our Energy Services Department energywise@stearnselectric.org or (800) 962-0655 to inquire about a referral for a qualified, trusted contractor in your area. Following that, coordinate with your contractor for the installation or other work to be completed by the specific tax credit’s deadline date in order to meet requirements.
